In Fresno, California, a man now faces felony charges after he allegedly attacked his roommate with a samurai sword after an argument over a video game.
According to police, Jim Sanchez, 31, got into an argument about a video game with roommate Christopher Torrez, 22, at around 6:00pm Tuesday night. When Torrez attempted to leave the residence, Sanchez attacked him with a 3-foot samurai sword.
Torrez was taken to the local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to his left leg and right hand fingers.
Police arrested Sanchez at the scene and took the sword as evidence.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felony mayhem.
