Chan Sing, 31, reportedly left the girl alone in the street for about an hour because staff at the arcade told him that children were not allowed inside, according to Earth Times and South China Morning Post.

Chan then sat his daughter in a restaurant with a drink for three more hours while he continued playing games before staff called police to track down the father.

In Kowloon City Court Friday, it was reported that when Chan was arrested, he told police, “I have to play video games.”
