Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear series, has revealed the top five most memorable and influential video games for him.
- Super Mario Bros. series
- Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken
- Xevious
- Outer World (known as Out of this World in U.S.)
- Metal Gear Solid
“Games are a composite art that evolves absorbing new technologies,” Kojima said in an interview with The Yomiuri Shimbun.
I hoped to “create a big wave” in the game world, he said.
